About Heidi Kharbhih
Heidi is a passionate humanitarian and a talented statistician with an uncanny ability to get to the heart of business issues, having 25 years proven experience of designing and implementing change across manufacturing, retail, health, education and financial services. Heidi’s natural leadership style is one of authenticity, trust, empowerment and collaboration: guiding individuals to follow their passions, with supportive coaching and mentoring, encouraging diversity and providing a safe environment for others to flourish, be creative and recognise their potential.
Over the last 5 years, Heidi has been using her talents for something more meaningful than simple balance sheet returns and forecasts, spending much of her time seeking out and learning from change leaders that inspire others. Founder of Conversations for Change, Heidi presents at events and also organises conferences and runs workshops to bring new ideas to the fore and spark up authentic conversations that result in real change. There is a single aim and that is to make a difference and change the world, whether that be in health, education, politics, business, service or other industries. There are no restrictions, no barriers, no borders. Her motto is simple: be part of the conversation, be part of the change.
Heidi is also an egalitarian, working to transform traditional organisational structures to be more ethical and sustainable, changing the team dynamics towards participatory practices, self-motivation and personal accountability. Heidi is a strong advocate for long-term decisioning, advising organisations on innovation and strategy, to ensure each and every business decision considers the effects not only on the business but also consider the impact on the wider community, the environment and humanity. Heidi believes that to be truly sustainable, organisations should consider the economic and societal needs of the regions they operate in. Heidi loves to facilitate workshops for innovation, creativity, strategy, design, planning and team building utilising a combination of Sociocracy 3.0, Leadership Training, Art of Hosting and Liberating Structures techniques.
